How do I join?

Membership of the Retired Police Association of Tasmania (RPAT) is open to all police officers of Tasmania Police and other jurisdictions who have resigned or retired, after having served a minimum of five years. Exceptions are open to members who have been forced to resign or retire, as a consequence of poor health or injury.

What does it cost and how to pay?

Membership of the RPAT attracts a $5.00 joining fee and the annual subscription fee of $20 per member, a total payment of $25 which must be paid at the time of making application to join. Upon acceptance of your application, you will be forwarded a letter of welcome, a membership badge, and an ID card. The ongoing annual subscription fee of $20 becomes payable on 1 January each year.

Associate Membership of the RPAT is open to the spouse or partner of a RPAT Life member, Ordinary Member or Honorary Member. An Associate Member may also include the spouse or partner of a deceased RPAT member who was at the time of death, a financial member of the RPAT. Associate membership fee is $5.00 per year.
